The Office of General Counsel represents the University of North Texas System, including its Board of Regents and its Universities, in all legal matters. We are committed to excellence. The UNT System Board of Regents delegated authority to the Office of General Counsel to exempt certain contracts and agreements from individualized legal review as stated in the Criteria for Exemption, issued in writing annually by the Office of General Counsel. Beginning September 1, 2008, a new Criteria for Exemption took effect. The new exemptions include several changes from the FY 08 exemptions, including an increase to the dollar amount of purchasing contracts (e.g. software license agreements and equipment rentals) exempt from legal review. Sheri Fisher
Sheri Fisher is Administrative Assistant II and provides support to Renaldo Stowers and Karin Rilley. Prior to working at UNT System, Ms. Fisher worked in the Records Department at Godwin Pappas Ronquillo in Dallas. Ms. Fisher graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration. In 2004, Ms. Fisher received a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Arlington Career Institute.
