Office of General Counsel - Administrative Coordinator I
What does my job title really mean:
I feel that my job title of Administrative Assistant means that my contribution to the department is a supportive role. The job I do "behind the scenes" is an integral part to the quality and quantity of work that comes out of our office. The attorneys are able to provide a service to our client while I handle the administrative tasks.
What is my education and some past achievements:
My educational background is in Mass Communications. I graduated with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Spanish. In each of my employment opportunities since graduation, I have utilized my formal training in both areas.
What brought me to the UNT System:
A fondness for working in a university environment. I enjoy the campus community and working with professionals and students.
What I like best about my job is:
The people with whom I work and the versatility of my job duties. There are always opportunities to learn new processes and programs.
If I ever leave work early, I can probably be found:
At home with my daughter.
People would be surprised to know that I:
Used work with Child Protective Services as an Investigator. Most people who work with me now and know my personality couldn't imagine me being "tough" with people.
