jaime L. thomson
Chancellor - Program/Project Spec III
What does my job title really mean:
My main job is to schedule meetings for the Chancellor. What that really means, I can’t even begin to explain!
What is my education and some past achievements:
I have a B.A. in History from Texas A&M.
What brought me to the UNT System:
The opportunity to try something new.
What I like best about my job is:
It’s never the same day twice.
If I ever leave work early:
I can probably be found: playing with my goddaughter, who started kindergarten this year, and her little brother and sister.
People would be surprised to know that I:
was a contestant on Jeopardy! (This becomes less surprising once you get to know me.)
The most interesting thing that I have learned since working
for the UNT System is:
Probably the most interesting thing I learned was that there is actually a difference between UNT and the System.
If I could be “boss” for one day I would:
Hope it was on a Saturday so I couldn’t do too much damage.
